DAVID’S PEACE

For everything there is a season...a time for war, and a time for peace.* This is Your time for PEACE.

*Ecclesiastes 3:8

According to recent survey data, In 2020, there were 6,146 Veteran suicides. This is 57.3% greater than for non-Veteran U.S. adults. Occurrences of PTSD are between 15% to 29%.

David’s Peace is here to help!

Are you a veteran struggling with PTSD, anxieties, depression, longing for environment where you can take a breath and just be? In collaboration with Lorrayne Ranch, the David’s Peace has created a safe place for you to rest, recover, and experience peace again. Retreat amidst God’s breathtaking, mountainous landscape of Colorado on a working guest ranch. There is no one-size-fits-all approach to healing. Rather, this journey is unique for each veteran. Embodying this process, we intentionally seek ways to put together a unique approach for each veteran that reaches out for services. Some modalities used include… ATV’s, Equine Assisted Learning and Therapy, trauma therapy, healing outdoor spaces such as mountain climbing, quiet solitude, equine assisted learning and therapy. You are just as important as the people you served!

David’s Peace is intentionally designed to meet the unique needs of veterans spiritually, mentally/emotionally and physically in the following ways:

  • Restore

In crisis? We believe restoration is the core to the desire for each of us to experience fullness of life. There is always hope.

  • Heal

We believe in the power of God's Holy Spirit to use the land to bring healing to the areas of life that each individual needs healing.

  • Empower

Be empowered to take control of your journey to healing, wholeness and the next chapters of life as a veteran with lasting PEACE.

J146 Foundation, in collaboration with Lorrayne Ranch, has been using the land to provide pastoral care, through its Encounter program, since 2018 and has raised and invested over 1.8 million dollars into creating a western guest ranch where people can experience healing and rest, but we can’t do this alone. In 2020, J146 Foundation launched the Restoring Joseph program to aid victims and survivors of male sex trafficking. David’s Peace is the latest addition to J146 Foundation’s dedication to Restore what was broken, Empower what Remains. We need your help to keep this work going and change lives!
